Step back in time and experience one of the few remaining authentic 1930s log cottages on the Pemaquid Peninsula. Nestled near the tip of Pemaquid Point on a quiet dirt road that winds along the shoreline where the Atlantic Ocean meets Johns Bay, this charming cottage offers the perfect blend of rustic character and coastal beauty.
A one-minute walk brings you to the rocky shoreline, where you can explore tide pools, watch the waves, or simply enjoy the ocean views. A leisurely stroll takes you to the iconic Pemaquid Point Lighthouse and the popular Sea Gull Shop. Whether you are looking to relax or explore, the area is ideal for walking, cycling, lobster cookouts, and discovering Maine's spectacular coast.
Inside, the cottage retains its historic charm with open rafter ceilings, a native stone fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen, and a classic raised clawfoot bathtub (shower attachment included). The comfortable living area also features air conditioning for added comfort on warmer summer days.
Just a short drive away are restaurants, beautiful Pemaquid Beach, Colonial Pemaquid State Historic Site, scenic boat cruises, and the charming coastal villages of Damariscotta, Boothbay Harbor, and Camden.
Well-behaved dogs are welcome with prior approval for an additional $50 pet fee.
